Australia 2020, within the Day of STEM platform, examines key themes that are woven together to tell a story that brings to life exciting innovations in Australia's future such as automated vehicles, drone delivery, secure banking, and wireless technologies.

Australia 2020 is being promoted through national education associations and their state level affiliates of teachers, schools and communities.

Teachers may run the Australia 2020 Vision in the classroom or as a homework exercise for students.

What is Australia 2020?

Australia 2020 is the second program within the Day of STEM platform which aims to inspire the next generation of Australian STEM professionals through an interactive, online STEM awareness platform called Day of STEM.

Is Australia 2020 just one day?

No, it can be run anytime throughout the year. We encourage teachers and schools to schedule and pick a day to run the program. The initial time it takes to run the program in the classroom is approximately 45 minutes, with an option of 60 minute home work assignment.

Why should students participate?

Australia 2020 is a powerful and exciting way for students to see and experience the benefit of following a cyber and STEM education pathway. By experiencing Australia 2020, students will be more prepared to make decisions for their future.

No, the Australia 2020 is free for all students, teachers, schools and organizations.

No, the LifeJourney Mentor guides users through the entire Australia 2020 experience in a self-paced format.
